Prickly Pigs Hedgehog Rescue Visit

On March 14th Prickly Pigs Hedgehog Rescue came to talk to the children as part of British Science week.  We first became involved with this charity when Thea in Year 1 won an amazing hedgehog house in one of their competitions, which she then donated to us.

Lots of background information about this rescue can be found on:  https://www.pricklypigs.co.uk

Prickly Pigs is a local family run rescue  that is completely self-funded and they rely on donations to help pay for everything that they do to treat poorly hedgehogs at their small hospital.  On average the treatment and rehabilitation of a hedgehog is £70.  Thank you to everyone who donated cat and dog food.  They were very grateful.
